ISOQAR – The People

Conceived in the late eighties, ISOQAR was finally born in 1991 and accredited to carry out certification work in 1993. It was created by two partners using their wealth of knowledge and experience gained from many years in quality assurance and the certification industry. Although still very much in the driving seat, the partners have now been joined by like minded individuals, who from their local offices, have helped transmit the ISOQAR philosophy across the world.

ISOQAR – The Approach

ISOQAR really is different from some other certification bodies. Which is why we have the word ‘approachable’ central to our logo. We only employ friendly and practical auditors who enjoy adding value to the auditing process. Their remit is to provide appropriate guidance and to focus on the real purpose behind an organisation’s management systems. Furthermore, this service is provided at a much lower cost than the majority of players in the certification field.

The Way We Audit

The route to registration normally involves two simple stages. Firstly, we check that the required documentation and procedures are in place. Then we carry out an on-site audit against these and the requirements of the appropriate standard. In all cases we employ the services of auditors with suitable experience in the field they are auditing.
